Re: New pad in Retrostone 2 without diagonal problems

The thing is that we fixed by modifying the PCB layout not the silicon/plastic part.

If you want, there's a silicon some guys tested that give better diagonal results on RSN1 :

Note this silicon pack probably can be bought at different suppliers.

Re: What's involved in changing the battery?

You can replace it with any 3.7V lipo battery that can fit inside the casing. What you need is a JST-PH 2 pin connector, just make sure that the polarity of the connector is the same (that red and black are not reversed). I currently don't sell retrostone battery on the website, but I'll add it in t...

Re: Retrostone 2 is coming soon

RetroStone2 is a bit late sorry guys, I underestimated the time to setup armbian on a new processor!

Hope we can start kickstarter in about 2 weeks.

And yes the LCD is one of the main improvement of RSN2, it use a 640*480 digital screen.

Re: PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT: TESTERS NEEDED! (was: UNIX sysadmin observations)

Sorry for the late reply.. I'm so focus on retrostone2 development that I don't do many things else (including visiting the forum >_<) AMT630A datasheet : https://www.8bcraft.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/AMT630A_Brief_Spec_v1.1.pdf Hex making instructions (dunno if that can help) : https://www.8bc...

Re: Open Source VPU driver for Allwinner

We got a 640*480 LCD and we made it work on RetroStone2, it's working both on legacy and mainline now!

We still have some bugs to fix, we can't get emulation on HDMI when doing simultaneous output on LCD+HDMI.
Also few more things to debug before RetroStone2 releases!

Re: Some observations from a UNIX sysadmin

Hi! Sorry I missed your message! About HDMI switch I tried for a long time to find a way to make automatic switch between LCD and HDMI rather than using the bashfile but with no luck. You can see discussion here on armbian forum : https://forum.armbian.com/topic/5870-avhdmi-switch-and-display-rotati...
