Re: Loud buzzing from speaker

See my pm. If you have a loud screeching noise when unit is off, it means the on:off switch do not go to off correctly. There can be 2 reasons for it : - dust in the connector : try blowing in it. - the connector might have twisted a little bit : it can be solved by opening the case, twisting it bac...

Re: 3208 chip

Awesome! Have you added a joystick too? The battery voltage is on Channel 2 of the MCP3208. To read the voltage with SPI you'll need to write a code. See this tutorial might help : http://codelectron.com/how-to-setup-2-axis-analog-joystick-with-orange-pi-zero/ Please share the results of your tests ...

Re: Can I connect retrostone to crt tv?

H3 has a TV output but it's used by the inner LCD. This was chosen in order to have the HDMI out available. If you want to use HDMI out you need to first do the software change as explain in the tutorial. Have you done so before using your adapter? Else, if you'r willing to mode the console you can ...

Re: how to modify the switch-off time since the low battery led lights up?

I don't see any easy ways to do this.. It's because the low battery status LED is given by the charging IC, so the voltage setting (3.1V) is internal and can't be modified unfortunately... The only way I see would be to add a voltage detector to a higher value (3.2 or 3.3V for example) and mod the P...

Thanks for sharing!!
Have you also shared it with retrorangepi developpers?

Re: RetroStone not booting/crashing/freezing - Hardware issue - Please post here.

I've performed the SD card resistor mod, but still get regular boot problems. The most common are pages and pages of data continuously scrolling up the screen and the other is just two lines of text at the top of the screen. Unfortunately I can't read the text. Also, recently my Retrostone has been...

Re: amiberry

I am not familiar with this emulator. I think the best would be to ask retrorangepi devs, they probably know more about it.
