Re: Hyperpie

It does not look like they have an image for Allwinner H3 processor. The raspberry image will not work out of the boxe.
I suggest you ask them to make a H3 image if you want to use it on retrostone :)

Re: Minecraft/ Terraria 8-bit

Does terraria have a linux version? Sounds like retrostones are sufficiently powerfull to run it.
Even Minecraft too. It probably has a linxu version too.
Only question is how to map the buttons. It's probably possible.

Re: Backlight Mod

Nice mode!
For RetroStone2 this could be convenient as there's currently only a software setting. This thumb wheel would let you change the brightness anytime!

Re: New pad in Retrostone 2 without diagonal problems

The thing is that we fixed by modifying the PCB layout not the silicon/plastic part.

If you want, there's a silicon some guys tested that give better diagonal results on RSN1 :

Note this silicon pack probably can be bought at different suppliers.

Re: What's involved in changing the battery?

You can replace it with any 3.7V lipo battery that can fit inside the casing. What you need is a JST-PH 2 pin connector, just make sure that the polarity of the connector is the same (that red and black are not reversed). I currently don't sell retrostone battery on the website, but I'll add it in t...

Re: Retrostone 2 is coming soon

RetroStone2 is a bit late sorry guys, I underestimated the time to setup armbian on a new processor!

Hope we can start kickstarter in about 2 weeks.

And yes the LCD is one of the main improvement of RSN2, it use a 640*480 digital screen.
