Re: Charging via USB
Yes, I've used both a phone charger and plugged into a laptop. So long as you are using the microUSB on the raspbiboy and not charging while playing you will be fine.

Re: Setting Up Wifi
Fine either way. I plug the usb receiver for my keyboard every now and then on the fly if needed and it works fine.

Re: WORKING USB hub on pi ZERO
If you are plugging the OTG into the microusb on the raspiboy then that is because that is for power and not data. First time I booted my Zero before getting the kit I had my keyboard/power in the wrong usbs and whilst it booted it didnt recognise the controller. Didn't seem to do any lasting damage...

Re: Case for Raspiboy
My case arrived finally. Pretty much the same basic 2ds case with a net in the lid as above. About £3 from eBay.
Also fits(snugly but no stress on case or parts) an 8bitdo nes30 Pro as well as a usb cable and I've got a WiFi, Bluetooth and mini hdmi adapter just in case.

Re: Raspiboy v1.2
I would say half the portable Retro Pie projects have a low battery indicator, and only a portion have a full battery indicator. I think using 4 LED's to show battery level is overkill. It would be fine if there was a way to show a low battery light, or even a software method to do an overlay on th...

Re: What Should i Know Before i Power the RaspiBoy On?
No, there is almost nothing you can do that will irreparably damage the Raspberry Pi. Assemble it, pop in a SD card flashed with the Retro Pie image, and turn it on. Depends what you class as irreparable. Charging while playing has been confirmed to have issues due to the chip on the v1 raspiboy PC...

Raspiboy v1.2
If you haven't noticed v1.2 is here! http://forum.8bcraft.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1461 Can't reply to that topic so started a new one here to discuss it. It mostly sounds good to me apart from one thing. I quite like the indicator LEDs as they are now so you have a gauge of how much battery you ...

Nice one fella. I think it was one of those 2 I settled on in the end.RxBrad wrote:Here's where I shamelessly plug my own GBZ35 themes. They can be installed through RetroPie-Setup, or the ESThemes choice in the RetroPie menu.
