Ok, there's obviously compatibility issues with a lot of roms and RetroPie which I'm not getting with equivalent PC emulators.

In the end I searched for `RetroPie Rom Set' and almost all roms I tried worked.

Just a few more issues to iron out but really enjoying the Raspiboy!

I used to play with various emulators on the PC. It was pretty easy to get set up and didn't require any technical knowledge. I've been trying to figure out how to do the exact same thing for XRoar (Dragon/Tandy Color Computer emu), another non-libretro emulator.

Does your example map the BIB to ESC across all emulators?

I only ask because I want to map the front buttons for XRoar but leave them unchanged for SNES etc.

Loosening the screws nearest to the rear of the buttons (half a turn) has fixed the problem.
