Any chance we can get a tutorial on this?
All the issues I have with this device are around not knowing when the battery is low and it corrupting the SD card!

assuming you have connected the retrostone to your router with the ethernet cable and not your PC, try rebooting with the cable plugged in if you're command line savvy, plug in a keyboard, exit emulationstation to the terminal and run sudo service networking restart this should give the DHCP service...

Switching off the screen
While accessing over SSH I'd like to be able to shut the screen off to save power.
Can anyone share a command to turn off power to the LCD? Perhaps I'll use the GPIO button for this purpose.
