Re: Bluetooth audio

No. Bluetooth audio will not work on RetroPie. It doesn't work on Emulationstation either.
You need a Bluetooth-to-audio pass-through device.

Temperature script

Here's a script to check the CPU and GPU temps while in Emulationstation. (You can also SSH and copy and paste these commands.) If in RetroPie, drop to the command line (F4) and type: nano /home/pi/RetroPie/retropiemenu/Check\ Temperature.sh (This will open a text editor where you will then type:) #...

Re: What are the screws used to secure the shells called?

They're called self-tapping screws. I'm not sure of the size or the grade of the screws (you'll have to use a caliper or a precise ruler for the dimensions.

Re: WIfi dongle

What I do is when the WiFi dongle is connected, disconnect the WiFi and reconnect through the Orange Pi menu.
Btw, you can only use the RJ45 jack or WiFi. You can't do both. One has to be disconnected.

Re: RetroStone boot problem identified

The only reason I soldered it onto the Micro-SD card reader is for mechanical leverage. I wanted to make sure the solder would stay adhered to the resistor.

Re: RetroStone boot problem identified

I just did the mod and now my RetroStone always boots up!
God, I hate lead-free solder...took forever for the solder to adhere to the resistor...

Yup! In fact, I suggest it!
For one odd reason, on the new image, the reset button (button above the screen controls) is disabled and I can't figure out how to re-enable it.

Re: Headphone audio

guyinco wrote: Mon 17 Sep 2018 15:09 Could you use a Bluetooth dongle and Bluetooth headphones to get a better sound?
No because RetroPie won't let you use Bluetooth audio. It'll only let you use a Bluetooth keyboard (Bluetooth mice will not work)/controller.
You need the audio to pass through the 3.5mm headphone jack.
