Re: Headphone sound only on left channel
I decided to do a little gaming with the retrostone today but with headphones. Both of my headphones use a mic, so they use four sections on the 3.5mm headphone connector. I get stereo sound during bootup and while in the menu when the music is playing. However, when I play a game, the sound could b...

Re: RetrorangePi 4.2 full or Supreme retrostone
Thanks for the detailed review. I'd recommend making a backup of your final build. If someone screws it up, just restore it. I made one of my 64GB build, because it did corrupt and I had to rebuild it from the supreme 1.3 image. I've expanded it to a 128GB card, but I'm still tweaking it. I need to ...

I tried to send a PM to you, but it seems to not be working. It would probably be best to communicate via email to iron out the details.

Re: Display updates Retrostone
How about a retrostone v2 that has a physical switch between the HDMI connected LCD screen and the HDMI external interface. That is my biggest problem with it. Hard to read the text on the retrostone screen. Works good everywhere else.

Re: DHL possibly the worst shipping method to date
Must be a location problem. I get stuff delivered via DHL to Houston, Texas all the time. Super fast. One day the tracking said its in Hong Kong, the next day in Cincinatti, Ohio. The next day its out for delivery.

Re: Struggling managing ROMS
I use one of the pi images and just copy the roms to a fat32 flash drive using a raspberry pi. You can use raspian or connect your retrostone to a HDMI monitor in desktop mode and copy the ROMs that way.

So do you just need an image to download or a shipment of a imaged micro SD card? I have a backup of my own. I think my last backup is 64GB, but I have since upgraded it to 128GB, but that one isn't backed up.
I think everything is working, but I haven't checked every single game.

Re: **Update** Supreme Retrostone v1.3
My first image became corrupted when changing themes. I changed to boxy theme after trying some of the other themes. It froze on that screen and would never boot to the game selection screen.
I have reimaged it and left it on Boxy since then.

Hello all. I have just joined the elite since I have received my retrostone and I wanted to share my experience with the device. Before the retrostone I have used a rasberry pi 3b+ for gaming on a 32inch tv and a Waveshare Gamehat. I'm a windows guy, so not totally familiar with linux and the like, ...
