Re: Useless CFW for the Retrostone (1)
User pi probably does not have write permission on the ~/RetroPie/roms or wherever the emu want to save the state file. The permissions probably got screwed up when you mounted the uSD card from ubuntu and wrote to it as a different user (UID). I think there is a choice on the Options/Raspiconfig m...

Re: Useless CFW for the Retrostone (1)
Installed a Linux Livesystem (Ubuntu) on a stick to access the fat32 drive and put games on it. Works fine.
I've noticed a problem with the PSX Emulator: games cannot be saved, as in, save states aren't working. If trying to save to state 0-9 it will say save failed and close/crash the emulator.

Re: Useless CFW for the Retrostone (1)
Ah yeah. Fat32 drive no longer getting detected under Win10, not even using third party tools. Can't access it so I can't put anything on it, it would be good if you could switch to NTFS to fix that issue many of us windows users have lately.

Re: Useless CFW for the Retrostone (1)
Yo guys, just thought i would release a minor update to it. It updates a few emulators and adds a new game. ... Unfortunately, i have some bad news. I thought i could make it switch to the HDMI on the fly. But neither a10disp or another tool supports that. Attempting to do so leads to a missing ker...

Re: Useless CFW for the Retrostone (1)
I use etcher to burn the image and "AOMEI Partition Assistant Standard Edition" in combination with "Paragon Linux File Systems for Windows" (not sure if that's necessary here, but I use it to detect other linux drives) to detect the drives and increase the size of the partition ...

Re: Useless CFW for the Retrostone (1)
I tried to comment this to tell you how much I like this but my posts either aren't getting allowed or haven't been verified yet.
I started using my RetroStone again thanks to this wonderful 'useless CFW', thank you very much and keep it up.

Re: Useless CFW for the Retrostone (1)
Incase my last post didn't get allowed; This is truly the best thing ever on RetroStone. Unlike the Supreme RetroStone image or the default RetroStone image (talking of full version; slim is a tad more stable than full but missing functions) this does NOT crash / have countless boot / crash problems...

Re: Useless CFW for the Retrostone (1)
This is MUCH better and more stable than anything Pierre / the Supreme Retrostone / Retrorangepi devs ever came up with. I love it. Not only does it boot much faster, but I also had 80% boot crashes / glitches with any of their images (slim was a tad more stable but was missing lots of functions). N...
