Will we be able to upgrade the slim build rather than a complete wipe and reinstall?
Even if it was possible (which I doubt), I wouldn't recommend doing that, because you want to be sure that none of the Slim version bugs sneak into the Full one.

Re: Retrostone problems

I have experimented a bit more and here are my conclusions, maybe it will be useful for someone: - The device boots successfully only about 1 out of 3 times (before I thought that it's even worse, see the next point). - When you flash an SD card and launch for the 1st time, you MUST catch that succe...

Re: Retrostone problems

Which means that perhaps when you try to boot for first time, get the white blue screen for 30s or 1min, then turn OFF, maybe you turn OFF while the system is installing. Which may result in a corrupted image. That might have happened during my first attempts, of course. But I already had at least ...

Though, I would be satisfied even with such one, if the device at least worked stable. For me the question doesn't even...

Re: Retrostone problems

A little update: I tried to follow some advices of a guy from OrangePi forum, if you're interested, you can find details here: http://orangepi.club/showthread.php?tid=2603 Briefly all that I managed to achieve - was to boot the device first time after flashing SD card, which at least allowed me to i...

Re: Retrostone problems

I have the same kind of problems: For me the device completes booting only about 1 time out of 5-8, and other than that every time it stops at different random point: sometimes it freezes on the Slim logo, sometimes just black screen, once it was endlessly outputting some console text (longer than 3...
