He's usually pretty responsive, and it's literally just one guy so I expect he will get back to you. Just have patience - and take comfort in the knowledge that it's not just you; many units came out defective but he's really good at solving problems.

The process for adding BIOS images is identical to that for ROMs, you just put them in the... BIOS folder?

Connect via Ethernet. There's a folder for BIOS images and ROM images. There are a few tutorials on this very forum, if you look.

That was a "no" - Gamecube emulation is not available for these things at present and it's doubtful that it will be any time soon.

To be honest, you could solder a (short!) wire to the resistor. As long as the current can "short" the resistor - that is, take an alternate path instead of through it - then you're good. To those of you that are disappointed with the 'Stone I would say this: You can get similar units base...

¿And why will it "kill" the SD card? If any files are in use when the power fails, the whole card will almost certainly die due to filesystem corruption. Powerloss during gameplay will be usually fine if you're emulating an old ROM based system, but for anything that uses disk images it w...

Simply switching the RetroStone off with the power switch will likely kill your uSD card unless you're very lucky.

When you say it's not recognised, do you mean it doesn't show up in the device list? Or that it won't read from the card in Explorer?
