Re: Which folder should CPS ROM be able to run?

FYI, see here:

https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/wiki/MAME

and here:

https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Se ... Burn-Alpha

Arcade folder works for all MAME and all FBA rom versions, which is why I used it. Any other location was unreliable for roms showing up.

Re: D-pad left button not working properly

I got my retropie today. Just getting into it Noticed that the left d-pad button needs to be pressed very hard for it to activate. Where the other ones can be pressed normally. It makes it difficult to play games properly because im it doesn't press properly most of the time. Wondering if there's a...

Re: Sound from headphone jack extremely quiet

So I made the headphone jack mod successfully, although I did it slightly differently to Pierre. The resistors were easy enough to knock out of place with the tip of the soldering iron, but I couldn't get the solder to bridge the gap like Pierre did, it just wouldn't stick and I was worried about bu...

Re: Dreamcast?

I have the same issue with reicast. When you open the retropie setup and then choose configuration/tools and then reicast you should configure the input devices. But when you choose this option you see a Permission denied error for a second. So i think it's a bug in the software. Thanks for the rep...

Re: Dreamcast?

So I got a bit further with running Dreamcast, not quite there yet though. I found that the BIOS files need to be in a folder called "dc" and not directly in the BIOS folder like for other systems: /home/pi/RetroPie/BIOS/dc The BIOS files need to be named: dc_boot.bin, dc_flash.bin The emu...

Retroarch Full Screen (improves in game picture quality)

For anyone who isn't purist about having original game aspect ratio and would rather use the full screen (which seems to improve in-game picture quality - at least to my eyes), here's how to achieve this for all emulators that use Retroarch: Select RetroPie item in Emulation Station Select "Con...

Re: PSP Controls mapping

Works great in game but when i open the ppsspp menu, i can't navigate and change settings. The only thing i can do is go back to the game. Not sure how to get around that problem, I just made my settings changes using a USB keyboard and then play the games. It is a problem though as I can't get bac...

Re: Several issues

I have been unable to get any rims to show zipped or unzipped when I copy them over they just disappear from the card Are you using the samba shares method via network to copy roms on? That's the only way I was successful. The worst method was using ext4 driver on Windows 10, which looked like it w...

Re: PSP Controls mapping

I answered my own question and found out how to map PSP controls. It requires a USB keyboard to start the key mapping as the escape key is needed to access setup and then the keyboard controls can be used to begin mapping. I remapped my controls, setting the escape key for PPSSPP menu to the top lef...
