I would advise always making use of save states if you're having trouble with in-game saves. Select+R to "reserve", select+L to "load".

I have a 2ds case that I'd used to carry my RaspiBoy, and the RetroStone will fit in it, but it isn't as snug as I'd prefer. Has anyone found any commercially available cases that work well?

Yeah, it's just a Genesis/Mega Drive rom. Treat it like any other rom for that system.

Well, I'm reassured to see that I'm not the only person having this issue. What kind of play time between charges are people getting? I'm thinking I'll have to scrape metadata a few systems at a time and recharge halfway through.

I haven’t bothered to try them, but there is a DS emulator available in Retropie. Obviously, some games are going to be playable, while others that rely heavily on the second screen won’t be.

Here's where I shamelessly plug my own GBZ35 themes. They can be installed through RetroPie-Setup, or the ESThemes choice in the RetroPie menu. No support for TurboGrafx 16?
