Do you have no sound at all or little? If sound is not loud enought there's a setting in retropie to increase the volume. If no sound at all do you have when you plug headphones? The sound goes like this : RPI zero -> headphones -> amplifier -> speaker If you have no voice at all it's likely config....

Hi, It might be either the pogo pins that are not exactly in the right position (during SMT solder maybe they moved a bit) so soldering would solve the issue. Is it black or blue/white ? Have you checked that the pi sits in the right position? Have you tried plugging HDMI cable into the raspberry pi zero to see if it's running OK? Can you probe with a flashlight (phone flashlight) inside the LCD when turning on if you can see if the LCD has signal? Maybe ...

Hi, I'll try to find root problem with you. As you'r saying it does not work when you plug HDMI right? So I think the problem comes from the pi or the SD.
