Only once i heard about someone able to replace display from other device, though he failed many times and he knows hardware very well. I forgot the link .. So i think its not a good idea for now. For me personally HDMI is enough ...

Honestly i dont have vast knowledge about themes and icon packs on orange pi, but definately software support is better on rasp till now.
And battery life is not bad and i tried till 128 gb card and that works fine..
