Re: Sound from headphone jack extremely quiet
Oh that's sounds bad, for the test of prototype I used headphones (that do not have audio gain after double checking the model) but that have very loud volume all the time, so maybe I could hear the volume with them but it might be too low for regular/small headphones such as the free airplane headp...

Re: Battery upgrade possible?
I think it's possible to fit a bigger battery, I have not found such model available from my supplier however so I could not get anything above 3ah. If you find one model that fits inside with higher capacity please share it! You need a lithium polymer 3.7V, be carefull of the battery connector pola...

Re: Retrostone problems
I addition to my post above, this is what I get on my TV screen with the RetroStone plugged into HDMI. The display starts off OK then progressively gets the horizontal lines. https://preview.ibb.co/bOZwCe/20180822_193442.jpg This is usual, it's because it starts to boot on HDMI for few seconds (5-1...

Re: Retrostone problems
@Marauder From your test I think it might be a hardware issue. As you have tested different SD card it don't seem to be the SD the problem. Also I discussed with the factory and they repport that some units during the tests boot only 1 time every 3 times. They removed these boards from production as...

Re: Screen issue
@Cosmic_soup Wasn't it happening when battery was low?
Even if it's charging, if battery is almost empty you'll have this behaviour until it charged a bit.
Also it might happens if you have USB devices that needs too much power. Did you had any USB devices connected?

Re: Screen issue
On RetroStone LED3 stays ON when unit is charged indeed.
So full charge = LED3 and LED4 ON.
So full charge = LED3 and LED4 ON.

Re: Retrostone problems
Retrorangepi developpers asked me to invite you to share on their forum too :

Let me know if my previous post helped you.
(It might also be your retrostones that have hardware problem. In which case don't worry I'll replace it of course.)

Re: Retrostone problems
This makes me thin about what someone told me earlier. He told me on first boot he got the blue/white screen, he let for 10 min the unit ON. Then switch OFF. Then ON again and the unit could boot correctly. On first boot there is an installation process that last for about 5-10 minutes. So I am thin...

Re: Several issues
It might be a memory card hardware problem but it does not sound very likely as you could flash the OS and it works correctly. Have you tried to flash several time? Have you tried formating with Diskpart tool and flash again the software? https://www.howtogeek.com/170794/ask-htg-how-can-i-reclaim-th...
