Great news! I can confirm that this method worked for me!
Tested in two games, SNES and PSX (both games had troubled me in the past) and saved just fine.

I´m glad to hear that this method worked. Maybe the admin can pin this information on the board so other users don´t miss it.

For me this worked and I was able to save again in my games on my retrostone.
Otherwise double save via save state with select + R
So, what do I do exactly (normal person here). Do I quit to desktop and then what?
