Hey all.
Setup retrorangepi full, bunged a load of games on and started to have fun. Played a few and they worked great. Turned off (shutdown via menu) did some stuff. Came back, booted and booted into the retroarch main menu rather than emulation station and now stuff is running VERY slowly - boots up as fast as before but any emulation is achingly slow! Games that were fine before, now take ages to load - thought it wasn't working at all but happened to put it down to do something else and came back much later to see game running. But everything running very, very slowly. For example running Sonic and the Sega logo takes about 5 minutes to draw itself.
Any ideas?
Running REALLY slow
Re: Running REALLY slow
I never had this problem before, I think it's probably something that got broken in the software as it can boot fine.
Can you ask on retrorangepi forum? or try reflashing.
Maybe the SD is too full? Or too slow, what SD do you use?

Re: Running REALLY slow
It does sound like some kind of curruption on the card.
I’m using the card that came with it and, as I said, it was fine until I shutdown (properly!!) and came back.
I guess I’ll reformat/reflash and try again...
Re: Running REALLY slow
What is the sd card do you using? The 16gb inside the Retrostone or you own sd?
