Connect USB Gamepad

Post by Jjoony »

Hi.

I bought a retro gamepad.
It looks just like what Pierre sends in RaspiBoy project..
I don't know if it is from same manufacturer, but I bought it from website that sells raspberry pi , so I think it is almost same..
I connected it to PC and checked it works.
Now I connected it to Retrostone, it does nothing.
If I connect it to the device and turn it on, the default D-PAD of the Retrostone works as second joypad.
So I guess it does recognize the USB gamepad, but it just don't respond whatever button I press.
Is there a way I can find out whether it is properly recognized?
Is there another step that I should do to make it work?

Thanks..

Connect your joypad on the Retrostone and press start>configure input. Go on retroarch menu>input> player one and choose the default gamepad’s Retrosone. PlayeR 2 choose the second joypad. Turn back on configuration and save current configuration
