Saving in Legend of Zelda - links awakening - gameboy

Post by Gingerlover187 »

so to get out of a game you hit start and select at the same time....
to save in Link's awakening you have to hit A+B+star+select and the retrostone
just thinks you are backing out of the game. Is there another way to save or
a way to program a way to save that doesn't make the unit back out?

What? The default key for save is SELECT+R1. Anyway you can change the hotkey inputs pressing SELECT+Y>input>hotkey (change like you want) turn back and save current configuration

In game (originally) that is the only way to save ... OR after you die:)
With retrostone you should be able to "freeze state" via SELECT+R1
