Hi
Just got my Raspiboy and it seems like it does not work.
1-Downloaded Retropie image for RPI Zero
2-write it to SD card that was shipped with the RaspiBoy
3-Modified config.txt according to assembly instructions
4-Assembled it
5-Turned on, 4 leds lights up and thats all
Any ideas?
Thanks
Peter
Cant get anything on the screen
Re: Cant get anything on the screen
Is it black or blue/white ?
Have you checked that the pi sits in the right position?
Have you tried plugging HDMI cable into the raspberry pi zero to see if it's running OK?
Can you probe with a flashlight (phone flashlight) inside the LCD when turning on if you can see if the LCD has signal? Maybe it's backlight that have a problem, then it looks black

Re: Cant get anything on the screen
The screen is black, no flashing when powered on.
Yes, afaik the RPI is in the right position.
I do not have a mini-hdmi cable. I'll buy one later today.
How can I use a flashlight in the Raspiboy? The box is closed and if I open it and use a flashlight from behind I cannot have proper contact with the RPI and the PCP?
Thanks
Peter

Re: Cant get anything on the screen
I have bought an mini-hdmi -> hdmi adapter so I could use external monitor. It works perfectly well, configured the pads so I think the RPI is correctly mounted and the PCB is also correctly mounted.

Re: Cant get anything on the screen
Ok then I think pogo pins don't make contact correctly.
I will send you a replacement pcb.
Last tought, is the casing closed correctly? no need to screw hard but there should not be space between the 2 casings.
Send me an email at hello@8bcraft.com with your backer number + reference to this message please so I can register replacement part

Re: Cant get anything on the screen
I have the same problem. NOTHING on the screen, although the lights come on and everything is connected properly. I've reseated the LCD cable several times. Also the red wire coming out of my speaker to the board was not connected to the plastic clip when I unpackaged.
