Directional Pad requires extra force

Post by pbhound »

I have noticed that the directional pad requires extra force to make contact and be picked up by the software. is this normal for this game pad circuit board?

I changed the dpad membrane for a old snes pad and now works smooth. I think the membrane is too new and a little bit hard. Maybe with time and use it become more smooth.

I'm having the same issue. I contacted Pierre about it and he's sending a new one. For mine, the "up" direction worked great. But the other directions required a lot of force. I'll post back how the replacement works.

I've also noticed this problem, but after some adjustments, it was corrected. As I said elsewhere, try slightly loosening the screws closest to the buttons that you're having trouble with. That may alleviate your issue.
