Speaker working but too hot

Post by abocaman »

Hi,

my speaker is working properly but it's very hot. Something with the same issue? Any solution?

Is your system overclocked? Mine isn't overclocked, and even in a house with 77F temps, my system does reach past 66C ever.

Don't over clock a raspberry pi zero, because it doesn't really help.

Did you edit the config.txt properly?

Mine is not overclocked. The first I thought was that raspi boy need more ventilation holes. I try to run the device without the speaker and there aren't extra hot temperatura in the speaker hole. I think that the problem is with the speaker itself.

Yes, the config.txt file is edited and works. I hear the sound very well, the collateral effect is a too hot speaker.
