Raspberry Pi gen 1 hack
Raspberry Pi gen 1 hack
Hi, i have the Raspberry Pi, gen 1 Model B, just wondering if there is any hack to use my old gen 1 board for RaspiBoy kit
Re: Raspberry Pi gen 1 hack
Wouldn't say it's a 100% no.
You'd need to solder the pogo pin connections to the pi. Whether it has the same contacts on the other models I'm not sure exactly. I've been considering trying to hack onto a pi3 in the future.
Then after you have it working electrically the casing is the next obstacle as it's designed for the slim profile of the zero and not the larger form factor in all dimensions of the other pi's.
I'm sure there are issues I'm not aware of but they are the things I definitely know will need overcoming.
