Headphone audio

Post by naughtron »

Has anyone else notices that the audio coming out of the Retrostone headphone jack is incredibly weak? Even with the volume wheel turned all the way up it is very quiet.

Anyone have suggestions for increasing the output?

You'll needto use headphones with audio-gain.
Also there's a hardware modification to increase the volume :

If anyone has tested a headphone product that works to enhance the volume... please let us know.

I use an in-ear headphone (TaoTronics ANC Earphones TT-EP01) with sound isolation and it works great! No static or any other audio distortions.

No because RetroPie won't let you use Bluetooth audio. It'll only let you use a Bluetooth keyboard (Bluetooth mice will not work)/controller.
You need the audio to pass through the 3.5mm headphone jack.
