CPS 1,2,3 for RetroStone?

Post by Maw_of_Madnezz »

Has anyone emulated CPS? From what I read, people were getting it to work on Retropie but it took some extra work rather than just dropping in a Bios and some roms… see what you guys have done/heard?

I still didnt manage how to make it work. I placed the games in the respective folder, but it wont start. In the ES menu, the game names show blue, no emulation recognized and they wont start. I even changed the roms to the mame2003 folder, but nothing.
Edit: all working.

Use the FBA version of the roms, those are the ones I'm using and SF3 3rd strike runs amazing :) the only fight game I found to not be working as expected in FBA is Martial masters (which is not a CPSX game), it only achieves between 45 and 55fps which is not really that bad, the game runs really smoothly taking into consideration it has animations as fluid as street fighter 3, the problem is that the audio breaks a little because of the frameskipping... I'm trying to overclock the system a little to see if that helps since I've seen that specific rom (and the core of the emu for that system) runs in a single core and it's topped up at 100% all the time.
