The question 14 changed, it is now about this procedure :
Can you test it and feedback if it solve you problem?Step 1 : From emulationstation, quit to terminal (F4),
Step 2 : type in the command : sudo h3consumption -d 528
Step 3 : Type : sudo reboot

@Pepperextract @Guyzaro can you test the two following things :
1 - Try to flash with another computer (someone reported his boot problem came from the computer SD card reader)
2 - Try this image : https://mega.nz/#F!MbgjUASL!VLLT2-TnkabpkDbgoHPR9g
If it can't help I'll contact you to replace the units.

I tried new img.
1. 8bcraft32GB freezing
2. toshiba64GB boot!
3. sandisk128GB freezing
4. samsung32GB freezing
5. I confirmed all the sd cards.
I restarted 2.toshiba64GB
but it's freezing.
Hardware problems(sd card slot)?

10- RetrOrangePi 4.2 FULL "SLIM PLUS" 05/09; SupremeRetrostone v1.1
11- Always use software shutdown unless Retrostone freezes or crashes.
12- Yes, redownloaded both RetrOrangePi and SupremeRetrostone images; it did not help.
13- Tested with 64GB SanDisk Extreme, 64GB Lexar 633x, 16GB 8BCraft MicroSD. All exhibit the same behavior.
13b- Yes, have tried creating an image on another computer. Same behavior.
14- RetroStone exhibits the same behavior after running the commands.
15- I tried to flash multiple times, cleaning each time with Diskpart, tried different images, different SD.
After the blue/white screen, most times RetroStone will freeze at black screen or freeze after displaying many lines of white text on black screen.
Sometimes RetroStone seems to reboot after the black screen because it goes back to blue/white screen then black screen again.
Sometimes RetroStone will freeze after the splashscreen.
1 out of 10 times, RetroStone is able to boot into EmulationStation.
I have 2 RetroStones, and one works fine. I can take the SD card from the bad RetroStone after a failed boot and place it into the good RetroStone; the good RetroStone will boot successfully. This can be reproduced with all SD cards and images I have tested with.
