Scratch PI Boot and keypad support

Post by sdenaro »

Has anyone booted the pi image that goes to the Scratch programming environment on the RaspiBoy?

My son is into making games on scratch. I'd love it if he could play them on the RaspiBoy as a portable device to show off the games.

I'm looking for advice on getting the game pad buttons to work.

For anyone reading this.

It is possible to make a boot card that goes into scratch and run it, but it isn't usable. Screen is too small and scratch doesn't work well without a mouse or touchpad.

Games written will run, overall not well, and not in a way worth continuing this project.

My kids are learning pygame and I think games done in pygame should work better.
