somebody reverse engineered the firmware os the AMT630A chip. Do you think it's possible so the retrostone2 lcd can be used on the original retrostone.

I have the firmware from Arkmicro, so reverse engineering is not the issue.
The issue is that you still need to write the software using this chinese and pretty hard to understand software. And then the biggest problem is that you have to flash the software on the chip, and for this you need a hardware that can do it. I have a special board from Arkmicro speciliazed for this. I don't know if it's something special or not.

According me you need a SPI flasher, as the amt630 has a spi flash with the firmware. -> according this thread:https://forums.nesdev.org/viewtopic.php?t=16825
I have a spi flasher, so I'm glad to buy a retrostone 2 screen and flash it to the spi if you think you can change the software to support the retrostone 2 screen.
