Screen resolution and performance

Hi everyone,

I really like the concept of the Raspiboy and I'm waiting for the next badge to get one. I am playing on a Raspberry Pi 3 on my CRT with 240p resolution and I'm really satisfied with the performance there. Most handhelds have too small buttons in my opinion and I don't like playing 4:3 games on 16:9 screens.

A thing that I couldn't find out is the resolution on the Raspiboy... is it a native 320 x 240 resolution? Or is the image scaled down to that? Just asking because you read a lot about performance issues on the Raspberry Pi Zero and I hope that most of those issues are connected to the output/upscaling to HD resolution on big TVs. The most important platform for me are GameBoy and the GBA - I really hope it goes without stuttering!

The LCD is 320x240 hardware pixel.
The config.txt modification I suggest induce a software 320x240 forced retropie.
But you can parameter that as you like!
