I noticed the full version of RetrorangePi is supposed to have the port of cave story. Even though the option is there to play it, there is no folder or game files. I tried to install the game myself using the instructions for retropie but it doesn't work.

Anyone know how to get the retroarch version working? I tried the psp version but there's a lot of flickering. There's a DC version that I was going to try next.

I don't know how to install this one... i put complete zip on roms folder?

I'm not sure this is what I'm looking for. The page for the genesis version says:

"It's fairly stable at this point but gets buggier as the game progresses"

Have you been able to play all the way through on this version? I'm unsure why the retroarch version doesn't work as it seems to be the easiest way to get it going.

This is why I'm so interested in getting it running as I've never played it. Using my retrostone to play it on the go (toilet) is icing on the cake.

if someone already install cave story on retrostone, can u please tell us how... I try few method without sucess...

Yeah, it's just a Genesis/Mega Drive rom. Treat it like any other rom for that system.

I got fairly far into it. Didn't have any problems.
