				Speaker sound when completely off

				Hi
When I turn the speaker of my Retrostone completely off! there is still a sound (very quiet but it's there).
The sound is a white noise plus the actual game sound.
Is there something I can do on the hardware side so that when the dial is completely off the speaker is "cut off"?
Thanks

				Hi,
It can happens for different reasons.
- When some dust get stuck in the on/off switch -> try to blow in the connector.
- (for first production only) When the on/off switch twisted a little bit and can't move all the way to off. -> opening and straightning the switch will solve this.
- Applying tape on the back of speaker back seem to have solved this for some users.
Please let me know which is making the trick.

				Hi
I think I did not explain it properly - apologies.
The Retrostone is running (I am playing a game)
The speaker dial (the cog) is completely off (turned clockwise)
Now the speaker still outputs the game's sound (very quiet but it's there)
My question is why?
And if the cog / dial is faulty or anything else?
Thanks - Sorry for confusion

Can you try applying a piece of tape on the back of the speaker? To prevent him to touch the PCB.
Someone repport that this solved this problem for him.
