Just got my R2 and installed the system.
I`m trying to put my gameboy roms on it, but the desktop function doesnt launch.
Any tips?

Sorry about the issue.
That's a problem with new retrorangepi images. The "start"/"desktop" link is broken. He has to use "Retropie"/"retrorangepi"/"armbian desktop" link

On next release of retropie this will get fixed.
