Re: AMT630A firmware
I have the firmware from Arkmicro, so reverse engineering is not the issue. The issue is that you still need to write the software using this chinese and pretty hard to understand software. And then the biggest problem is that you have to flash the software on the chip, and for this you need a hardw...

Hello,
The system needs an operating system to work. You need to download Retrorangepi and flash it on the microSD card.

Re: Retrostone2 CFW v1.21 Alpha test release
To be honest, the consoles are heavily discounted because sales were non-existent. So it was either putting a very attractive price, or let the stock rust in a warehouse. I don't particularly wants to quit, but there are so many companies and consoles since the RetroStone2 that I can't see how to ma...

Re: Problème configuration manette pour joueur 2
My guess is that the pad is not configured for the NES emulator. Usually emulation station would automatically configure retroarch emulators. But maybe for some emulator it's not.
Have you tried to configure the gamepad in retroarch for the specific emulator you want to use?

Re: unit powers on when connected to charge cord
Hi Rick, This is unfortunately the default behaviour of the A20 SoC. It's actually behaving like smartphones. I discussed with Allwinner to see if there's a way to deactivate it, but they reported that it can't be done. I haven't find an easy way to change that behaviour. By the way you can use the ...

Re: What kind of joystick i need and how i can install it ?
Though FJN08K is hard to buy by a piece.
I suggest that you get it from the shop because it will also come with the injected plastic front case, which will look much better than drilling your current case :

The easier is to use the FJN08K because the PCB already has the layout for that component. So you just need to solder it and drill a hole in the plastic case.
Alternatively you can use another joystick and wire it manually to the available pads.

Hello,
The composite to RGB converter chip (AMT630A) needs a firmware which is specific to the LCD. Also the connector pinout depends on the LCD. And the hardware clock trace may need special component depending on the LCD. So it's really really hard to use another LCD
