I also noticed this, but then realized I have to press A and select lr-gpsp as default. After this every gba game runs smoothly.

Using regular 5V and it takes easily 12 hours to fully charge, but doesn't mind me, I just plug it in before going to sleep.

I'm also wondering about this. PCB V1.2, no overclocking, pretty regular settings. The most high I have had is 68 'C (without the charger on), after 1 hour of playing. When should I be worried? what is the "critical temp"? would this be a problem and break my raspiboy?
