swapping A and B in emulation station

Post by RetroJack »

Is there a simple way of swapping A and B buttons from the default?
At the moment B is "select" and A is "back".

I'm not sure why it was setup that way, but if you press start, configure gamepad, and reinput for the Retrostone, you can swap them.

In fact, the UI says that A (accept) is the 'east' button and B (cancel) the 'south' button. Not sure why the stock config with the Retrorange Pi has them reversed.

I remapped my retrostone dpad, but now I can't escape from a game by pressing the start and select buttons together. Any ideas on how to get that back?

Edit: never mind, it started working again

I manage to swap the A and B buttons via the configuration menu but then the configuration process locks up as I have no way of escaping and have no more buttons to press. Then Retrostone resets, forgetting the settings, including that I switched on the HDMI output!
Setting up Retrostone Is becoming impossible!
