Hi,

To copy files I use the usb wifi dongle with my retrostone - connected to my home wifi / or ethernet cable. Than I just open it my Windows network devices and copy roms. You can also use android apps such as xplore - it can see the network devices in your home wifi network. Just thought it might be helpful for somebody.

@Beads3 - thanks for testing.

regarding the rom backup - the percentage bar doesn't increase the same way to does when you're adding roms... so during a backup, it will backup the rom directory (once thats complete the percentage bar will increase) and then the cover art.. (once complete the percentage will increase) etc. i tried getting the percentage to increment more granular during backup, but had no luck.

so i guess im saying maybe it's actually backing up

Should this romcopy sh still work with the supreme version OS that just came out? I tried the restore option with no luck. Rom transfer works. But 0 for 3 with the restore.

how do you set chmod +x /home/pi/RetroPie/retropiemenu/RomCopy.sh? in a terminal right?

BTW: Could we have an option on RomCopy to choose a directory on the USB to copy from
Instead of the entre USB?

Thanks ruffnutts 8-)

i simply went to the desktop and then followed the directory path and copied and pasted the .sh file into the respective folder. Then rebooted. The copy of roms worked, but the restore function did not.

Yeah that's how I did it, I copied it accross but then I opened a terminal and chmod +x /home/pi/RetroPie/retropiemenu/RomCopy.sh like it said to do... then I tried the command in putty after logging in...
it shows in the menu but when launching after a few seconds it throws you back :|

This was on supreme image though, I'm sure I will get it going lol
