Hello,
I'd really like to know if the internal display can be configured (config file ?) to run @50Hz for PAL-emulation and if there are C64-emulators
(combian, BMC64, other vice-builds ...) running fullspeed on a Zero in the raspiboy ?
As far is I know it's connected via composite which can be configured to either NTSC (60Hz) or PAL (50Hz).
Only question is if the internal display can handle PAL @50 Hz ?
thanks in advance

Hi,
Internal display use NTSC as it’s programmed on the firmware of the LCD composite-rgb chip
I don’t remember if the PAL mode works out of the box, but I don’t think so.
You can try to change to PAL mode, but he may be stuck on this mode after. So it’s best to backup your data
Best would be to ask on retrorangepi forum about it to make work the commodore and C64

Thank you for the answer.
I'd actually like to know if it works prior to buying one, as I'd ONLY use it as a "portable C64". I have many other (60Hz-only and way more powerful) handhelds, so I can't test it myself and still hope someone else can report
