Good afternoon, I already received my raspiboy and I'm having sound problems
I followed the tutorial correctly and modified the txt file and it still does not work.
what am I doing wrong?
Sound problems
Re: Sound problems
I too am having issues, I have sound but very faint, and there is a lot of static coming through the speaker. I have followed the tutorial for the sound issues, this got me sound but its as stated before.
Re: Sound problems
Do you have no sound at all or little?
If sound is not loud enought there's a setting in retropie to increase the volume.
If no sound at all do you have when you plug headphones? The sound goes like this :
RPI zero -> headphones -> amplifier -> speaker
If you have no voice at all it's likely config.txt problem.
If you have sound in the headphone but nothing on the speaker then it's likely that the amplifier IC got damaged with electrostatic discharge.
If problem don't solve you can send me an email at hello@8bcraft.com

If sound is not loud enough there's a setting in retropie to increase the volume.
