Will we be able to upgrade the slim build rather than a complete wipe and reinstall?
Even if it was possible (which I doubt), I wouldn't recommend doing that, because you want to be sure that none of the Slim version bugs sneak into the Full one.

I think they'll work on that but I can't say for sure.

The good news is that the full version seem to solve these boot issues and system crashes. We'r betatesting it and it results are promising!

Big thanks for Retrorangepi team and their great work!

All kernel errors, crashes and most boot faillure are solved now. Only one small specific boot error persists (happens once every 10 times approximatelly) and we'r working to solve it.

Thanks for the Full Version. But I think the screen is not centered. It's best seen in the RetroPie setup menu.

And the top button on the right does not do anything anymore. In the slim version you could restart the RetroStone.

Yes I found the same issue too. Also I have A and B reversed. It seems it needs to remap the buttons.

For me, life remains the same. Well no, with the full version I have entered twice of thirty attempts.
Introducing Roms must be a great adventure ...
